The End of the World

Have anybody ever thought what the end of the world will be like? Do every live things just died off completely, or the Earth just exploded to count as the end of the world. When do religions mean when they say the world will end? Is it just mean that the human will all died off. If this was the case, what will happen to the animal that is living on this planet. Because as long as there is living thing on this planet, it will never be consider as the end of the world. Think about it.

Farewell to the class

I can't believe the semester have ended. I can still remember the first day of class. I was late on the first day because I got on the wrong bus. When I walked into the class, everyone was looking at me like there is something wrong with me, other than the fact I was late for my first day of class. Unlike most of my class, I got to know a lot of people in my Rhet class, and got to know Lisa and Mary more than my other instructors. Well, there is a famous queto in chinese says there will always be a end to the party. I guess there it is time to say goodbye to my Rhet. It have been a fun semester. So long!

Dynasty Warrior, it is one of my favorite games. A lot of people find the Dynasty series kind reparative. The game is mostly about hack and slashes your way trough hundreds and hundreds enemy AI. There haven’t been a lot of major changes made to the series ever since Dynasty Warrior 2. The only noticeable changes to me are the new characters added to the games and the visual had improved a little. Some minor addictions also been added like the new weapons and new story lines, but to me it is all the same. The Dynasty Warrior games are still great. The main story line still great and it feels good when you killed over a thousand enemy soldiers. The cons are that if you play too much, you will get tired quick, and the enemy AI is pretty stupid even on the hard and chaos level. Thus, the series isn’t as good as it can be, but if you like the idea of hack and slash, you should definitely check it out.

Memory

Within our consciousness, there exist of millions of memories. A psychologist once said once a newly born had his or her consciousness, memory will start to form within his or her mind. Memories do not disappears, they just got lost within the consciousness. We all had memories of all the events that happened, most of it will get lost within our consciousness due to that we only kept the more important memories above our sub consciousness. This is why scientists say that average human will only uses ten percent of our brain. Like language for example, it is just the memorization of words and way to put it to use. When we think, our past memories will affect the way we think. Thus, memories plays a bigger part of our life than we give it.

Time

One time, a friend of mine read an article about the existence of time. Does time really exist? How we know it exists? To me, the time it self is just a measurement of change. As long as thing continue to change. We will measure the time amount for it to change. As long as we acknowledge these changes, we are giving recognition to time. We use time to measure the change within us too. When we are born to our death, there will always be changes made or occur naturally to our body. The usage of time to measure those changes gives time its own very existence.

Cycle

The unchangeable law of existence, there is always a beginning and an end. For instance, No matter what the human does, one can not escape the claw of the reaper of death. His or her existence will slowly turn into memories and then slowly fade away into the clear sky. Everything in this universe will undoubtedly undergo such this very cycle of existence. A new planet is born when one planet end it existence. After billions year later, that very planet will undergo the very same procedure, becoming a supernova and end it existence and give a new life to a white dwarf. Thus, the cycle continues. Only way to stop this cycle is to stop time it self. As long as time continue to spin, the law of existence existed.

11- Humans have a long history of pointing out differences in the way females and males use language. We often talk about female and male ways of carrying on a conversation or about differences in the books and movies that tend to attract significantly more of one gender or the other.

How we were brought up

Since the dawn of time, human had been divided into different categories, old and young, good and bad, and the most important of all, male and female. The reason why the sex category is more important than other is that one can not naturally change his or her sex; one can be categorized as old as the time pass, but one can not change their sex without medical procedure. Once a baby is born, he or she will be taught how a male or female behave based on their sex. Thus causes the male and female to have different conduct.

When one was born, he or she will be taught how to behave by the people in their surrounding, mostly the parent. If is a boy, he will probably be taught to be more physical, like playing sport, if one is a girl, the chance are that she will taught to be more emotional than the boy. This kind of trend will influence them trough their whole life. In a male conversation, males will usually talk about how their glories in their past. The conversation will probably structure around one person; it is similar to the king of the hill game. That one person has triumph over the group and thus makes him the king. Unlike the male, the female conversation usually base on the entire group sharing their experiences. There is less likely of critical remark of other, or centralization around one person.

Due to the way male and female were raised, they will most likely to be attractive to different entity. In the book and movie category, male will be more in the favor of sports and violence, and less favoring the movies and books that mainly involve emotions and romance, and the female will be opposite to the male. This is due to how male were raise to be more physical and the female to be more emotional by their peers. This trend has exist since the human realize that different sex, even though changes had been made, the trend are still obvious.

10- In all the hours you have spent in classrooms, you have observed the ways in which students—including you—conduct themselves during class discussions. Reflect on whether you have noticed differences between the ways make and female students participate in discussions. If you have noticed differences, what are the primary ones? Why do you think these differences exist? If, in your experience, classroom behavior does not fall along gender lines, what do you think does cause the differences? Id you own class participation influenced by gender?

The Difference

If one is in my rhetorical class, then he or she will notice the difference between the male and female student in the class. The difference is not just they are different sexes, it is also is that they have different behavior and way of thought. The class setting or amount of female and male can also made a difference. Sexes might not be the might not be the main cause for the amount of participation in class made by female and male, but it definitely one of the major causes.

My rhetorical class is made of 11 girls and 4 boys. The amounts of participation in class affect by these numbers. Most of the time, it is the girls who are doing the talking. The way of thought also made an impact. I notice most the time when there is a conversation going on in class, the subject of the conversation usually will changed into sharing our past memories or some random information that has nothing to do with the class. So the female will usually be the one talking within this conversation, since to me, the female will most likely to share their past with people than the male. Because of the ratio of the girls to boys is nearly 3:1, the result is that the boys will probably do not feel very comfortable to share.

The difference in the participation is not just cause by the sex, but also by the environment, the difference in mindset, and the people in the surrounding. The different type of environments can cause different result. The mindset of the class can encourage one of the sexes to participate more. The ratio of the people can make a difference, since people usually like to be around with other that is similar to them. Thus, these elements cause the amount of participation to occur in class.

Hey

Right now I am reading a manga called Ravage of Fire. It is a really great manga, it has good drawing, great war story, and amazing cast of characters. The story is based on the Three Kindom Era. It started right after Dong Zhou took control of the emperor. The story is told trough the eyes of a fictional character. The manga is more about battle of the brain than pure strenght. I know that a lot people dislike manga just because they think it is too childish. If you are into manga and into war story, you should really read Ravage of Fire. Right now, I am reading the Chinese version of the manga, not sure if there is a English version. If you find the English version, tell me.

13- Stereotypes abound when it comes to gender, and they often come into play most clearly when someone offers a verbal put-down. Discuss one of these specific words or phrases and reflect on the role of language in gender conflict.

Languages had existed as long as human walked amount the Earth. When a new language appears and spread, people will always create specific words that relate to the gender in that new language. Some of these words are offensive to the gender. If one will look at all the languages around the world, he or she will always find some words that are offensive toward one of the sex. Thus, this is one of the causes for gender conflict.

In English, one will probably be familiar to the word, whore. This word points straight at one of the sex and offer a verbal put-down. The word, whore, means a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse, usually for money. So when a woman who has been called a whore, usually means that she is prostitute and have slept will a man for something valuable. The meaning of the word has changed a lot these days. The woman who is referring as a whore is usually who she just slept with lot men, not for money or any thing that is valuable. The word also refer to fashion, when a female dress in a way that expose too much skin, people might say that she dress like a whore. Either way, this word is offensive to women.

There is still lot words used in the gender conflict. Some are offensive to men, and some that is offensive to women. The word whore was created specially against women. People use this word improperly. They use the word as a metaphor, not by its definition. Thus they added this word in the gender conflict.

Guan Yu

A man represent honor, bravery and loyalty during the three kingdoms era. He is the brother of Liu Bei and Zhang Fei. He is said to be seven feet tall and capable of welding a guandao, a sword with really long handle. Guan Yu is usually portrayed as a red faced man with long lush beard and wears a green robe under his armor. He was given the title “God of War” for his bravery in the battle. The Romance of Three Kingdom says that the officers of Wu and Wei were fear to face Guan Yu during battle and not even ten thousand solider can stop Guan Yu.

Guan Yu is said to be only loyal to his brothers and no one else. When he was surrender to Cao Cao in order to protect Liu Bei’s wife from harm. Cao Cao treat Guan Yu like his own family and give him gold, but still could not persuade Guan Yu to join his army. Story tells that after Guan Yu manage to leave Cao Cao, he traveled miles to find Liu Bei and slays down all six of Cao Cao’s officers who tried to stop Gaun Yu. His bravery is even recognized by the emperor of Sui dynasty that the emperor start a religion based on Gaun Yu. The emperor hopes that all his subordinates can be as loyal as Guan Yu was to his brother.

12-What do you consider to be the typically male or the typically female version of one of the following: conversations, types or titles of books, types or titles of movies. Discuss the reasons for the differences as well as the attitudes that each gender might have about the thinks preferred by the opposite gender.

To me, male and female are totally different being. Things that set these two sexes can be differentiate with the naked eyes. For instance, the different like and dislike can be easily observed. The different of language used in conversations, the interest in different titles in books and movies. There is a reason behind all these differences. In is the way how we, male and female, were raised.

Conversation is how we shared information with each other. But what is shared in conversation is different between male and female. For most female, they tend to shared inner secret or emotional experiences. While the male isn’t that emotional, and the male do not shared their most inner secret that easily than the female. The interests in the title of books or movies also show the differences. Whenever there are romantic words in the title, the chance is the female will be more attractive to the book and movie. Male will most likely to be attractive to movie or book that have violent title, such as war and killing. Female tend to stay away from these title.

I think the reason why and how we view the different sexes is how we were raised. When we were child, we were tough how female and male show act. For example, when a little boy cries, how the dad will always say the boys should not cry, but the dad will never say that to a girl. How we view the different sex came directly on how we were raised.

Zhuge Lian


Zhuge Lian, one of the most renowned strategist of the three kingdoms era. The author of novel Romance of the Three Kingdom treat him like a god in that book. He wrote the whole book around Zhuge Lian. How Liu Bei have to begs Zhuge Lian three times before Zhuge Lian finally agreed to became the strategist for the Shu Kingdom. How Zhuge Lian uses the Empty Castle Tactic to scare his rival, Sima Yi, away. How he died and turn into to ghost and scare Sima Yi for the second time during Zhuge Lian's last battle. However, some parts about Zhuge Lian in the novel was all made up to boost up his popularity. The real Zhuge Lian was more a great politician than a strategist. Yes, he come up some good tactic, but it is not effective as his political decision he made for Shu. He's political influence in Shu was so powerful that even the Liu Bei fear him before he died. Liu Bei fear that Zhuge Lian will use his political influence to take control of Shu from Liu Bei's son after Liu Bei died. So Liu Bei give a position of grand minster to Zhuge Lian, the second most power position, right after king to Zhuge Lian to keep Zhuge Lian. So in the true story behind three kingdoms, Zhuge Lian was more a politician than a strategist.

4- In classrooms, you are asked to assume positions that are not just intellectual but also physical and spatial, even discursive (in the sense that classrooms position when and how you speak and write). How do classrooms position you? How would you like to position yourself?

Position

You are a normal college student. One day, your class is having a discussion over the new topic the teacher just tough. The discussion went on for over a half hour, suddenly, a hand just raised and a new voice joins in the discussion. You might felt quite shock, because you didn’t notice that this new kid exist in the classroom. Nobody notice this student existence during the discussion. He came out of no where. Well that student might be me in your classroom.

I admitted that I am not very talkative person. I barely talked in any of my class unless I had a very important question. So you can say that I am quiet listener. You might not know that I am there, but I will be there listening to the whole discussion. I kind like a historian, I might not be involved with the discussion, but I know exactly what happened during the discussion. I will ask questions that what I thought might be important to the discussion but not very often.

I want to be more involved in the discussion, not just a historian that set out side of discussion and record event happening. I want to be one of the people that are in the discussion, that a person who just appears out of no where and disappear after fifteen seconds. I am trying to change my unwillingly to join the discussion until I have a must asked question little by little. It is a hard road ahead, especially since this trait in marked into your personality, but I know that it have to be change if I want to success in college and the real world.

Cao Cao

History tells that Cao Cao was a curial leader. In the novel Romance of Three Kingdoms tells he slaughter over thousand innocent peasants at Chang Bang when he was chasing and trying to kill Liu Bei. How can some one curial like him become one of most powerful warlord in the Three Kingdom era. The true is Cao Cao is a brilliant leader, he knows when to make the best decision. He is not curial, he forgive the man who kill his son and one of his best officer. This decision earn him a victory against Yuan Shao and gain diminutions over northern China. I think that the novel is inaccurate, this book is based on the Kingdom of Shu not Wei. So that is why they portrayed Cao Cao as a merciless leader.

Discuss the competing demands of learning both content and method by using a concrete example from your own experience at UIUC.

What V.S. How

In the learning process possess by human. The concept of learning the material and the concept of how to learn it are very important. These two concepts goes side by side, where one needed to possess both of them in order become a great learner. There is no overshadow of these two learning process on each other. One simply could not learn with the lack of one of the two concepts.

The “What” concept, or the material that one is learning, state the importance of the material the he or she is learning. Without the concept, one wills not the reason why he needs the material. Why the material is necessary for the daily life of his or how he going to apply it. It is like learning history event and does not know why it occurs and why it is important. It is like you just cram all that information into you brain before the test and forget all of it after the test. It is all pointless in the end, since you have no ideas what you just learned.

The “How” concept state how learn the material and uses it to its full capacity. In history class, how one learns the event of history and applies to current society so that the history doesn’t repeats itself again. Another example is how inventor use all the materials learned for school and created something new based on those materials. The “How” concept is the aftermath of the “What” concept, because once people learn why they learn those materials, they will use the How concept to apply those materials to good uses. One can not be a good learn with just skill in one of these two, because these two concepts goes side by side.

Looking Forward to.....

What I like to do for the next few week of Rhet class is a little bit of grammar, I know that we are did some already, but just a little bit more. Second thing that I will like to do is read more essay about oppressor language, banking concept, or essay that is similar to the essay that we are writing about. I want to know more about the argument of language, teaching method and student's writing like the one in "Inventing the University".

6- The writing and reading you did in high school and the writing and reading you do now in college carry with them certain assumptions about why literacy is important. What values or purposes lie behind your literate activities?

Writing

I think that all the reading and writhing we did in high school and the reading and writhing we do in college are very important, since they help us get prepare once we are in the real world. Once we are in the real world, we will probably be writing every day, no matter if it is an e-mail that you write to the customer or stock market analytic summary that you are doing for your job. The main goal of the reading and writing we done in high school and college is to helps us get familiarize with the reading and writhing we will do for our jobs. For example, the business class we take in college will teach us how to writing business memo and to read the finance section of the newspaper.

My purposes behind my literate activities are to get familiarized with English. Because English wasn’t my first language, so I been doing a lot of reading and writhing to get more use to this language so I won’t struggle in the English and other class. I known that having a good writing and reading skill will help in the long run.

My Language

When people asked me what it means to have you own language. I will always answer it is how you thinks and talk about certain subject. The kinds of vocabulary are you using when you talk. To me, language can measure a person education skill and the culture of that person. A person with a high education will talk a different language than person with a lower education; it goes the same for a person’s culture. So the language can define the person.

A person goes to new community that has with different language and culture than that person. The person needs to learn and adopt the language of the community. If not, he or she will not able to adjust into the community and left out. During my freshmen year, there was a newcomer kid that transfer into our class. He tries to join my group of friends but was not successful, because we have a hard time understood each other and we have few things in common. He uses vocabularies that have different meaning in his and my language. After few weeks, he could not adopt the language in our group, so we end up been complete stranger in the end.

Language is important in that community. It can help or break a newcomer. A person who has different language than the community can be rejected by that very community. A person needs to adopt the language in he or she wants to be accept into the community, because the language define the person and the community. Like David Berreby said in his essay “It Takes a Tribe”. People don’t just go and live in some place; they join the tribe in that place. They learn the rules (language) of the tribe.

8- Although it might be tempting to assume that all teachers “dispense” knowledge that students then “store,” surely you have had one or two teachers who broke that stereotype. Why was your relationship different with that teacher, and how did teaching and learning take place?

Breaking the Habit

This week, we were instructed to read the essay the "Banking Concept of Education". It state that the teacher is responsible for all the knowledge that the students had learned so far. This is how the most teachers teach. They just insert information and knowledge into the student and told them that it is very important to remember all those information and knowledge. The student have been portrayed as an empty hard drive of a computer, and the teacher is the programmer that is programming the computer. This situation is common among teacher and student but not always true.

I have a teacher named Scott VXXXX ( I don't feel right put other people's name on the Internet with out their permission). He was my history teacher and have a unique way of teaching. As I recall all my memories of how he tough me lesson, I can said that his menthol of teaching is different than most of my other teacher. First of all, he all way say that we need to think about all the history events, why it happen and how it happen. He doesn't just told us to remember all the date of the events it happen and not knowing the reasons behind it. We usually have discussions over the events to express all the students' opinions and come to a conclusion that is based on the students' opinions not the teacher.

Mr. VXXXX always have a partner relationship with the students. We can exchange information and try to decided what will make sense the most, not just on the teacher is knows everything and students knows nothing. We learn by our judgement of the knowledge not the teacher's.

14- Describe the man who had the greatest influence on how you regard men or the woman who had the greatest influence on how you regard women. What personal attributes attracted you to that person? Have you met anyone or had any experiences that have led you to question your original beliefs about men and women?

Men and Women

The person who has the greatest influence on me about men or woman is probably my dad. He tough me that no matter who you are as long as you do you best, no matter what sex or races, you will accomplishes something during you life time. I still follow the lesson about the opposite sexes. I try to respect the both sex equally and show no favors toward one of the sex. I will continue to follow my father's idea about men and women.

I grown up in country who has a history of discrimination over women. Even though the women had gained some of the rights as male, the discrimination are still visible to the human eyes. I had witness parents giving away their daughters, because they they were born as female. In some parts of China, mostly the poor or undeveloped sections, the family only send their son to school and leave the girl at home. This reflect on the history of China, where people thought that the only job for the female is to stay home to cook, clean, and take care of the kids. It was then I questioned myself about my beliefs, and learn from the mistake of other people that men and women are created equally and shouldn't take favor between the sexes. My father helps along the way by giving me suggestion on way to treat people equally.

Grade

My reaction to my grade on the summary essay wasn't that surprising. I already noticed a couple mistakes that I made before I turned in, but I didn't have the time to change it. First mistake is the margins of my paper, which is auto set on 1.25 inch. I completely forgot to change it from start. I will remember to change next time. Since I didn't change my margin, my paper weren't officially 3-4 pages long. Second mistake, I notice this when I was reading my paper again after I submitted in my paper. I found out that I chose a wrong word when I was doing my spell check. Third Mistake is there were a couple grammar errors in my paper. So I think I deserve the grade that was given to me.

The Changes

It was the end of summer break of year 2000, my father decided to buy a new restaurant in St. Louis. So my family had to move from a small to this huge city. Things were tough for me at my new school in St. Louis. The school was huge, and the kids act so different. For the first two months, I have absolute nobodies to talk to. I try to join in a couple times, but failed miserably.

After all that failures, so I start to listen to how kids in my new school talk and what they usually talk about. Since most of the kids talk so differently than where I came from. The vocabulary that they using in their language and what the usual subject of the discussion. After one or two week of listening, I start to pick up the difference. So I started to modify my way of talking, even if I will loss my old self, but I have a little choice if I want to get accepted in this new community and audience. Soon later, I began to notice that my writing are changing too, I started to use some vocabulary that is commonly used in the people that I was hanging with.

My relationship with my audience is similar to an instructor and a student. The student picks up knowledge that is taught by the instructor in order to be successful in the classroom. Then later the student will become the instructor and teach the new comer and the cycle goes on and on.

History VS Novel

Romance of Three Kingdoms, a tale of a 300 years betrayal, loyalty and raise and fell of countless heroes. But for the most part, this story isn't base on the real history. In some historical book, it says that empty castle tactic wasn't invent by Zhuge Lian, but by Sun Jian. The story Sun Xian Shang fell in love with Liu Bei and betray her brother in order to help Liu Bei escape weren't true. Sun Xian Shang was never in love Liu Bei. Thier marriage was just a politcal setup. She even betray Liu Bei and kidnap his son in the end. Guan Yu didn't really kill Hua Xiang, it was done by Sun Ce. Cao Cao is portrait as a ruthless tyrant were that cruel in the real life. He didn't kill over thousand of innocent civilian to get revenge for his father. The story maybe awesome, but we have to know that it isn't base on the real history.

7- In a journal entry, recall a time when you were new to an activity but you were not entirely sure of its rules or processes. How did you feel, and how did you try to learn that activity and fit in with those who did it often?

My Experience with Contig

I can still remember the first time I ever play Contig. It was during my third grade. My math teacher told us that we were going to play a math game call Contig and there will be an upcoming Contig tournament in school and the champion team will go on and face team from other school in a county tournament. The teacher spends about 20 minutes explaining the rule of Contig. But I couldn’t understand most words she was saying, since back then my English was that great. I was so terrible at my first Contig game that my opponent gave me a 10 point handicap at the start and I still lost the game by 15 points in the end. I felt like a complete loser at the end of the game, but I would not give up on the game.

To the people who don’t know what Contig is? It a math game, it consists of two team playing against each other. The team is made up of 1 to 3 players. At the before the game start, the teacher will pass out a Contig board. On the board, there is a table 12 x 12, each of the box have a number inside that goes from 1 to 144. The teacher randomly mark x on 10 of the boxes. Then the team will play rock, paper, and scissor to decide who will go first. As the game started, the teacher will roll three special dice, and he will yell the numbers the dices had rolled. The team will use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with the numbers to come up with a number and mark the box with that same in the box within the table. The team scores if the box the team marked is next to or diagonal to an already marked box. The amount of point that team earn depend on how many marked box is next to the box the team marked.

I spend a lot of time to learn all the rules to it. I watch how other player play the game, and try to the rules and some strategy along the. After a week or two, I finally learned all the basic rules of the game. Soon I won my very first game, but I won’t stop there. I overcome every opponent and challenges along the way. Even though I won the school Contig that year, and lost in the county tournament. What I enjoy the most about Contig was how much fun that game was not the win or lost.

When i entered a new environment, I will usually bring me self to the class room. I am a sort of a leader type person. I want to bring everyone to their maximum capacity. I want everyone to work at their hardest and best condition and i will be working with them at my best. I will bring a mindset of hard working, but have some fun along the way.

I am a serious person all the way. I will always put work before fun, but won't mind having a little fun along the way. I found that this way will get the work done faster and won't be boring. It help people relax and work at the same time. Most teachers or instructors used this way or similar way to create this kind of mind set in their class room or work places. All work and no fun really doesn't help much. A person who work for 8 hours a day, and don't have fun while working will usually felt tired or don't even want to do anything.

So, I do look like someone who will put work ahead of everything else, but that aren't the whole truth. I do like to had fun while working, or take some time off to relax. This is the kind of mindset that I will want to bring into the university and the classroom too.

hello to everyone out there who have time to read this article. if you are not one of them, then you shouldn't be here, you should leave and come back later when you have the time to read this short article that I wrote. This article for my rhet 101 class, i assume that most of you are from the same class that i were in. otherwise, i had no idea where you got the URL to my blog. this article is do Wednesday, August 29, 2007, aka the same date that i wrote this article or essay or blog entry, whatever you want to call it, it is fine by me. so as you can see, i waited till the last day to do this, and rushing through it, i didn't even use proper grammar or capitalized the first word of the sentence. there most be a problem with my computer, it usually do the capitalization for me if i forget to do it. oh god, i have to hurry up and finish this, it is already 6, i starving, i haven't eaten any thing today. so for the people who doesn't have the time read this, you can always come back any time you want as long as you have the time to finish the article later. For the people who manage to finish this article, I hope it doesn't discourage you to read any of my future blog entries. (now the capitalization work, ahhhhhh, some one please give me a hammer so i can smash this junk to pieces. JUST JOKING)

week 1

1- Recall the experience of being an outsider joining a new group. What wasunfamiliar in the language—and behaviors—of that group? How did your own attitudes and behavior begin to change as you grew to be accepted within that new community? How was that change captured in your language?






As we grow older, they will encounter a great deal of situations. For example, when we attend a new school, he or she will need to adjust and fit in with the new environment and people. As we come across new and interesting individuals, our behavior and language will try to bend in. some call it peer pressures, but it is natural for us human.

My family had moved for place to place five or six times in the past ten years, so I had lots of experience of being an outsider trying to fit into the new environment. I had noticed that each group of people had their own unique language and behavior, each act differently than other. Each of them had a theme, some groups always talk about hunting, other like to discuss about what to do or where to go over the weekend. All groups have one in common, that is the people in the group have similar behavior and under each other’s language. If an outsider wants to join a group, he or she needs to learn the behavior and the language to it to fit in completely.

I had personally experienced the changes in my behaviors and attitudes once I had fully been accepted into the group. For example, during my senior year in high school, I hang around the people who like boxing. Soon all I every talks about is boxing, and I had developed an interest in boxing. All these changes occur unexpectedly.

To blend in with the group seem to me are common in our society. Our judgments, behavior, and language have been modified by our consciousness to fit into the new environment. It is all part of life.
